About Dr Khalil Sharif

Dr. Khalil Sharif’s journey from a Palestinian refugee camp to becoming an accomplished educator and researcher reflects a lifelong commitment to learning, curiosity, and perseverance. Born in 1971, he developed a strong interest in physics from an early age and went on to study the subject at Bethlehem University after receiving a scholarship.

After completing his studies, Dr. Sharif spent four years teaching physics to middle and high school students. His passion for education eventually led him to the United States, where he pursued advanced studies in microelectronics and photonics at the University of Arkansas. He earned both a master’s degree and a PhD, building expertise at the intersection of physics and engineering.

Today, Dr. Sharif serves as a physics professor at Northwest Arkansas Community College, where he continues to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for science with students. His work as a scientist author reflects his interest in exploring questions that connect scientific principles with larger questions about existence and the universe.
